Dr. McCall  joined APP in 1996. He was born in Boston but raised mainly in the Bay Area of San Francisco. He revered his grandfather, a cardiologist, and thought about doctorhood from an early age. As an undergraduate at Stanford University, he kept an open mind and dabbled in other subjects, but finished with a degree in Biology and headed for medical school.He graduated from Vanderbilt Medical School in 1989 and was voted by his classmates into the medical honor society, AOA. He moved to Denver to begin internship and residency at The Children’s Hospital of Denver, choosing it because of its excellent reputation but also to be near family and to enjoy the mountains and outdoor activities. He is married with four children and a fluffy dog. He can talk passionately about the San Francisco Giants and soccer, classical music and piano, and about how fortunate he was to break in with this great practice.
