Dr. Delano is a Colorado native. He received his undergraduate degree at the University of Colorado at Boulder. Medical school was completed at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. Residence training in pediatrics was completed at the Children's Hospital of Denver. Dr. DeLano is Board Certified in Pediatrics and a member of the clinical faculty at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center.He is the recipient of the Best Pediatrician "Best of the Best" award in Lone Tree and Highlands Ranch for the years 2001, 2002 and 2004. Dr. DeLano and his wife Laurie have four children currently pursuing careers. Dr. DeLano enjoys piano, travel, 4-wheeling, studying German, trivia, and Elvis.
